Skin care - Acne - pimples

acne: pimples on the face, back, neck.

Prevention:

  • Wash your face with an oil-free soap that doesn't over dry your skin.
  • If you need to moisturiser or sunscreen- use a non greasy.
  • Avoid getting sweaty (wash your face often)
  • Avoid touching your face to often.
  • If you have acne on your forehead, avoid hair gel for few day.

Treatment:

Add two drops of juniper oil to a tablespoon of jojoba or sweet almond oil. Mix this and apply to the problem area.

Note:
Avoid this treatment during pregnancy. make sure your hands are clean before applying.

Skin care - Ageing

Yes, we can reduce the physical sign of ageing. Their are many reason which fastens the ageing process like smoking, an unhealthy diet and anxiety.

Prevention:

It is important to keep your mind and body active. Exercise regularly, eating healthy, no smoking. Exposing the skin to daylight so it will help us to keep our bones strong (vitamin D ) avoid ultraviolet rays between 10am to 3pm. Stress management is necessary.
Prevent dry skin dryness and wrinkles by applying moisturiser with a SPF of least 15 every day.

Diet: fish oil helps to keep blood vessels in good condition.

Skin care - sunburn

Over exposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays cause sunburns, which damages the upper layer of skin.

Prevention:

  • Avoid Exposing the skin to daylight between 10am to 3pm.
  • Eating tomatoes can help fight against sunburn and wrinkles, eating five tablespoons of tomato paste helps skin's ability to protect against harmful UV rays. These rays can lead to premature ageing and even skin cancer.
Treatment:

Add five drops of lavender oil to three tablespoon of sweet almond oil, and apply to the sun burnt skin.

Skin care - lips

You can have smooth soft lips, lips become chapped, flaked, dry and sore, especially after exposure to the hot, cold or windy weather. It also due to deficiency of B vitamins.

Prevention and Treatment:

Include whole grains, green vegetable and nuts in your diet.You can polish with hand full of sugar, it melt quickly, so it wont irritate your delicate skin. Also you can dab on a tiny drop of olive oil or petroleum jelly to keep them hydrate.

Skin care - Deodorant

Deodorant

Sweating is good for health, fresh sweat is odorless. only after 2-3 hours the bacteria composition forms substances with odor.

HERBAL SPRAYS: Good for sensitive skin, gently on the skin and no irritation

How to make spray deodorant:
2 tsp. zinc-oxide powder
2/3 cup witch-hazel extract
2 tbsp..aloe-Vera juice
30-40 drops essential oil(s)

In a small bowl, stir the zinc-oxide powder into the witch-hazel extract, and add the aloe-Vera juice and essential oil(s). fill an 8-oz. dark glass spray bottle with the fluid.

Storage: In the refrigerator.

Note: witch-hazel extract are available in drug and grocery stores. Zinc-oxide is greasy and make your deodorant appear milky, since it is not completely water soluble, the powder separate from the liquids over time. Make sure to shake before use.
